This design was inspired by the spectacle of fields of wheat; a vision that brings peace and prosperity. In this design, we use shades of one colour as the background, and that makes the main colour that the shades were extracted from really pop out. The shape of wheat is constructed using the prominent “Soumak” weaving effect. Soumak weaving technique, which is one of the oldest kinds of rug-making technique, the unique braiding effect of ‘Soumak’ gives another dimension and form to any rug it is weaved.
